Speedetab, one of our startup showcase this year and local South Florida company just won the "West Texas Investor Club" (a Texas style version of Shark Tank) - 40% of their company for $250k now, with another 250K once they reach a milestone of 230 bars and the investors help in getting them into other venues such as Caesar's and the like. This is a CNBC program and hopefully we could get them some exposure that way as well.
We are proud and privileged to be able to represent the South Florida tech community on such a national platform. Events and institutions like eMerge Americas and The Knight foundation have not only done a terrific job in fostering this tech ecosystem, but also in helping shine the national spotlight on innovation in South Florida.
