Driving & Exceeding Performance for eMerge Americas 2018

As one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, it is with great pride that Eikon Digital worked with eMerge Americas as the Platinum Digital Partner for Programmatic Marketing for the 2018 conference. The overarching KPI was to drive registrations for the conference while also reaching top-tier C-level executives and marketing decision-makers from the US and Latin America across the tech ecosystem. Programmatic digital targeting was a newly employed tactic in addition to the more traditional marketing and social/adwords channels that have been used in past years.

Eikon Digital was honored to contribute its extensive experience and industry savvy to attract new types of business vendors into the adtech/martech space this year. After ongoing brainstorming with the eMerge team, we developed various strategic tactics to implement along with targeted creative for several segments of desired attendee profiles from entrepreneurs to angel investors, to start-ups, and other key players in the space. These tactics included retargeting, contextual, geo-fencing, audience buying, whitelisting on industry tech/entrepreneurial publications, video, mobile targeting, and other types of data-driven tactics to reach our goals and intended audiences.

The campaign was a resounding success. The conference experienced an increase in attendance, most notably attendees from new demographics and geographic locations, and most importantly, we saw an overall increase in website traffic driven by the 11,500,000 impressions delivered over the four months leading up to the conference.

eMerge Americas was a tremendous opportunity to test new strategies to drive and exceed key performance indicators. Looking beyond the traditional tactics deployed through social media and adwords has allowed us to expand eMerge’s reach and penetration, engaging new and critical audiences.
